E-cafe : a start-up organisation that funds, nurtures and establishes other start-ups

I am proud to have discovered a team of engineers, who are truly working at the base line of development. Often charity is a donation for the poor or seniors, we often forget that everyone can use a little help.  A team of 32 engineers and start-up entrepreneurs is running e-cafe, which guides an avid entrepreneur in developing and growing his idea into a functional company. Further, after establishing the idea, they provide a cohesive environment and necessary facilities for bootstrapping start-ups. The novel idea of forming an organisation to support start-ups was not an individual’s but of a team of students and teachers. An educationist and entrepreneurial supporter, Prof Jitendra Rajaram incepted some engineering students and helped them grow their ideas into companies. “I started discussing entrepreneurial ideas and developed them at the Malwa Institute of Technology (MIT), and it was amazing to discover those innovative and revolutionising ideas,” Rajaram said. ...

Tarek Fatah - more than a rebellion

Tarek Fatah I didn't know about Tarek Fatah, until one day I came across Indore literary fest where he was invited. His face glows with confidence and his aura had a charm even that picture which I saw. I googled him and it was easy to get a peek into his life. Tarek Fatah, a journalist who stands against terrorism and is fighting it in his own way. Of course, reading about his life and studies is enough to be inspired by him. He is the man with a courage to stand for the right even if that means going against his country and religion. For those, who still need to google him to find out who he is, check excerpt from his website - Born in Pakistan in 1949, Fatah was a leftist student leader in the turbulent days of the late 1960s and 70s when he was twice imprisoned by successive military dictators. In 1977, he was charged with sedition by yet another military regime and barred from being a journalist in the country. After a ten-year stint in Saudi Arabia as an advertisi...

Sunil R Modi, President of Indo-africa alliance

Anyway, this is the story of how I met someone who not only made my day beautiful but also gave me a new perspective of life. I met Sunil R Modi in an event as a journalist, where he was invited to inaugurate a conference. I expected an Indian-African person with a big ego to walk up on the dias. However, that was not the case. Modi walked up as plainly as any other person, and in fact, bowed down to the audience in a way that you could feel that he is truly saluting every soul.   Sunil R Modi, the president of Indian-African alliance addressed the gathering motivating them to pursue their dreams. I was lucky enough to get a one-on-one interview with him. He was a true gentleman. He walked behind me, opened the gate for me and pulled out a chair. These are general manners but an...
